Superscore?

Okay, so I don't know if I should superscore. I've taken the SAT 3 times now. Here are my scores.

March:
CR: 670
M: 710
W: 590
Total: 1380/1970

May:
CR: 660
M: 730
W: 710
Total: 1390/2100

June:
CR: 650
M:760
W:720
Total: 1410/2130

Superscore: 1430/2150

So as you can see I've gone down by 10 points in CR each time. I'd say I'd just send my March & June scores if it weren't for that 590 in writing the first time. I'm someone who needs to prepare, and when taking the SAT the first time I hadn't prepared for the writing section yet (clearly it shows).

Should I send March & June so I have my maximum superscore of 2150? Should I send May & June and just take the 2140 superscore? Or should I just send my June score and deal with not having those extra 20 points? I have no idea what would look best for colleges.

All help is greatly appreciated.

I would send March and June. They won’t even look at your 590. If you’re really worried about it, just send June. 20 points is not a major difference in the long run.

Would they definitely not look at it? I just don’t want the fact that I got a 590 to make me less desirable to colleges. But if it truly won’t hurt me I’d obviously like to have the highest score possible.

Should I consider sending May & June that way it’s only 10 points lower than my March & June superscore, but it shows a lot more consistency?

Thanks for the help!

I’d just send the june… 590 looks bad. I guess it depends on what schools you’re applying to as well, but if I could give you generic advice I’d say to not send it.

Ugh I know it does. I really wish I got the 670 in May or June.

If I decide against sending March, should I bother sending May for the extra 10 points or should I just stick with June?

I wouldn’t bother. Most schools look at the SAT scores as a range anyways, so they wouldn’t really be extra impressed by 10 whole points.
