Superscores

I actually posted this on the HSL forum, but this forum seemed like a better place to post my question. Okay, I've heard people talk about superscores and I wanted to know what that was. Is it the first score on the first SAT test? Someone said it was a combination of the best SAT sections...does that mean colleges won't see every individual score?

Superscoring is indeed the combination of your best scores in each section over different sittings. Colleges see all your scores regardless. Some colleges do look only at your superscore but more competitive ones usually look at your highest total score in one sitting.

Almost all of the top-tier colleges are super-scoring colleges.

This will probably be helpful to you. It shows how each of the schools work (superscore vs highest single-sitting)

Thank you so much!! This really helped.
@jimmypod: Thanks for the link…it’s really useful!:)
