Superscoring Old & New SATs together?

I am a high school junior who has taken the current SAT test two times. I plan to take the NEW SAT in March and then again in late spring. Will colleges superscore test results from OLD and NEW or will they only combine results from either or?

I don’t think they will - they are really two different tests. I know that at least one college my D2 is applying to has made it clear that they will not be superscoring the old with the new. You will need to check with the admissions office of your colleges. Most will have this information up on their websites by now.

Edit/Update: You should probably find out whether superscoring the new test with other new SAT’s will occur at all. This test is very similar to the ACT and many colleges do NOT superscore subsections of the ACT. They will take your best composite score.

They will not superscore old & new SAT scores.
