Hi. I took a test in november of 2014 and got a score of 2200 with a breakdown of math-800, writing-790, and reading 610. i decided to superscore my test score to get my reading up. If my math and writing drops to a score of 600 and 600 but my reading goes up to 700 for example, would that affect my chances of getting into college even if colleges supposedly only look at the highest scores?
Generally not. It might if you got 200/200/700 and you were required to send all scores (like Stanford).
It’s kind of impossible to decrease so much if you have already an excellent score. Focus on CR, but on the test make each part of the test as best as you can. CB could flag your scores since you decrease too much and your scores will be delayed. Also, schools will notice the decrease of your scores.
