I am trying to submit my supplement for Brown but it keeps telling me to do the engineering prompt, even though it is my 2nd choice. My primary choice falls under physics and I have already uploaded that prompt. Should I just upload something for the engineering prompt explaining that I had to do upload something in order to submit?

If I change my secondary academic choice to a non-engineering subject I don’t have this problem. Are you really supposed to do the engineering prompt if your secondary choice is engineering?

That’s what I would do. Or upload an empty document just to appease it.

If you apply to two schools at Cornell (1st and 2nd choices) you need to do both essays. You might need to do both. That would make sense…

That would make sense, except it specifically says : “To be completed by applicants whose primary interest is Engineering.” I’m just going to upload an empty document.

it also says “If you are interested in ‘ONE OR MORE’ of the following academic areas at Brown, we would like to know a bit more about you. Please check the appropriate box(es) and upload your response to the following questions.” ONE OR MORE

Sigh, this kind of ***** ticks me off. I don’t know man; I think I’ll make up some last minute crap for the engineering part. They really need to make it less ambiguous.
