The 500 character word limit is a killer. Can you write it in a word document then paste it over to the supplement box even though the supplement goes over 500 characters, or will it not accept it?

I’ve just been retyping it into the supplement box, but yeah the 500 character limit is a killer.

I don’t think trying to sneak past the character limit is a good idea.

It might possibly cut it off after 500 characters, so be careful.

Haha I tried, but I didnt know it was over the limit. I just typed it and tried to paste it in the box, but it wont let you. It’s really important though for it to fit the limit, I mean, there’s a limit for a reason.

Wow extensive use of the word “limit”

Be careful with NYU supplement essay 500 character limit. Even though you stay within the character limit, print preview before sending it in. My daughter was well within infact few characters were still left but in print preview mode last 2 lines were cut off. Hopefully NYU gets to see everything written in the actual box and not in print preview, then they dont get to see entire essay and that would be really bad for her.
