I submitted my supplement to Princeton last night and my supplement essay appears as a blank, even though I uploaded it in the proper format and under the word count. Should I just accept that I will totally be rejected? Or will they understand that it was a technical malfunction?
I emailed the admissions office as soon as I found out (before the deadline) and attached my essay as well.
AHHHH I'm freaking out!

I’m sure it will be fine once they read the email. You submitted before the deadline, and they still have three months to make a decision.

Did you scroll down to the bottom of the print preview PDF? Uploaded essays appear at the bottom. For Princeton it should say “Essay 2” on the top right corner after the last part of the app and your essay should be there. It’ll only be above the engineering essay if you pasted it into the 5000 character box.

OH MY GOD it appears that it actually went through. I just borrowed my friend’s PC and the essay shows up. So my 24 hours of complete panic and frantic emails were all for naught.
Hopefully the admissions office has PCs…wow.
