Many universities and colleges' supplement essays ask students to tell why they love this college and how they would contribute to the community. What do I do when I am not familiar with the communities? What prep should be completedbefore writing this kind of essays?Thank u so much for help!

If you can visit the college, do it! Otherwise, go to their website and read what they have to say about academics and student life. It’s a very individual type of question, so don’t try to figure out “what they’re looking for.” Just read enough to get a feel for what life is like there, and think about how you envision yourself fitting into that.

Research the college at websites like c o l l e g e p r o w l e r . And regurgitate what other students raved about the college haha

Thank you guys!I just feel like visiting websites doesn’t seem always convincing and true.Perhaps reading some current students’ blogs might help.
