Supplement Essays

<p>If the schools don't specify the length of the supplement essay, about how long should it be? (word count)</p>

<p>My common app essay is around 550 words, so should I keep the supplement around or under this? Or is it okay to have the supplement essay longer? (like 700 words)</p>

<p>Don’t take my word on this, but I think supplements should be SHORTER than your main CA essay. so I’m guessing at most 300-400 words. That’s what I did for some of my schools. Don’t make it too long; adcoms have enough to read anyways…</p>
