Supplement or not?

So I’m sorting through my supplements and I’m deciding not to apply to Wellesley RD with an early evaluation. I know if I did this it would require an extra essay. Further down in the application though, it says
“I understand that the Common Application will not send my application to Wellesley until I have completed the Wellesley-specific Writing Supplement. Even though I receive a notice that I have submitted my application to the Common Application, it will not be sent to Wellesley without the completed Writing Supplement.”
Does this refer to the previous supp for the early eval. or is this a different beast altogether? Also, if the latter, where would I submit it if not the common app? Just email it…?

This might be a question for the office of admissions. I’d hate to give you the wrong answer and have that affect your application. The office is usually really good about responding in a timely fashion.

It sounds like you have not completed and submitted the Wellesley-specific writing supplement. There is only one supplement. This would be the “Why Wellesley/Wellesley 100” question. Your Common App is complete but the Wellesley specific part is not complete. EVERYTHING needs to be in by Dec.15 for Early Evaluation. Good luck!

@redpoodles but if I DON’T want the early eval, do I have to do the supplement?

Yes. Everyone has to do it. The only difference is the due date.

Okay thank you
