I wrote a supplement

I did the book list. Reading about what others have done, however, makes me wish that I would have done something more intricate.

I may be applying RD, and I have already completed the writing supplement. I wrote about an inspirational figure in my life.

I did!

I did. IMO it’s only useful if you can show a completely different facet of your life/personality from the common app essay.

Me!

I did

I didn’t (for early action), mainly b/c I thought my research paper would show my passion more than a supplement on research. Now that I think about it, I should’ve wrote about my passion for research and submitted my paper

doesn’t your research paper count as supplement?

It’s not a “Writing supplement,” as in one over the topics they gave us (one that shows personality). I just submitted it as an additional academic supplement through the portal

Well, if this helps you reduce your worry, one of the topics is an intellectual challenge, and i know someone who got in last year who used his research paper as his supplement to show the intellectual challenge.

I did! I wrote it about my experiences learning Russian via a program at my school :)

I did not submit the supplement
