Supplement problem!!! Help...

Hey...so i was looking at the supplements...and in the supplement section for each school there are two choices 1) create 2) link. If it says create then the supplement is directly attached to the common app and can be filed together... however, if it says link, clicking link would take you to the school site and then you would have to download the supplement. I noticed that most of the schools have a "Hand-in-Hand" policy which means both common app and supplement must be submitted under the same REGISTRATION ACCOUNT...

now my questions are..

1) which registration are they talkin about? college registration account or common registration account...cuz if it is commons account it would be impossible since as I state above supplement "link" would take you to school site in which student have to download and print supplement...thus impossible to submit on-line along with common app...

2) why don't the universities have on-line supplement submissions....(the universities with "link" options only have downloadable supplements....

sorrry for long question...but this is a very serious predicament...thanks in advance

If the only way to send the supplement is to download and print it, I think that's what the school wants. I'm not sure about the hand-in-hand policies for whatever schools you're applying to, but if the link is separate, they probably know it. Just send it separately.

Yeah, I wonder the same thing. According to my understanding, colleges highlighted in GRAY demand that applicants submit both the Comm application and their supp forms online. The weird thing here is whenever I click on the Supplement link of these schools, the link leads us directly to the schools' site, not the place where we can submit their supp forms online

So, does anyone mind clarifying this ? :)

If a link takes you to the schools website, you usually will have to do just a little searching to find the "supplemental" materials. It's usually under an "admissions-undergraduate" tab or the like.

some schools may not have their supplements online yet for random reasons. for the hand in hand, just turn both in because they dont look at anything without both
