Supplement Rec Letter Accidentally Got Sent Multiple Times

<p>So I had another recommender outside of school write a letter of rec for me. However, that recommender sent a copy of the letter via postal mail and then my counselor, who was given a copy of letter it by the recommender, faxed the same letter to MIT. So now MIT has recieved multiple copies of the same recommendation letter. Would this be a problem? I did not realize that the letter was going to be sent multiple time. I'm really concerned now...</p>

<p>No, it isn’t a problem. The people who sort the application components are smart – they’ll figure out that it’s a duplicate.</p>
