Supplement Word Limit "Why Emory"

<p>Hi everyone, I know that this is probably asked a multitude of times in various forms, but I looked through the Emory threads and did not find one.
So for the supplement "Why Emory" is it okay if I go 10 words over the 250 limit? I know that some schools will just stop reading at the 250th word. Is Emory like this? or does the admissions office set this limit as a guideline? </p>

<p>Yea I am pretty sure you can go over, I myself had a 304 word “why Emory” essay. I highly doubt you’d be penalized for it. Just don’t go way over, like over 400 words.</p>

<p>I followed the word limit. I think mine was 249.</p>
