Hello,
I emailed Yale at apply.question@yale.edu and send them a supplement research and a short update on my awards. However, they did not reply. Have any of you tried to email in supplements and never got a reply or do they usually reply if you email in supplements? I applied RD. Should I try a different email? If so, which one.
What about deferred students, when you guys send in your letter of continued interest or updates or etc, did the office reply?
That’s the correct email address. They answered mine
What did they answer? “We received your update and will add it to your file” or something like that?
@jogoma12
"Thank you for contacting us. Your application has been updated.
Best,
Yale Admissions"
@jogoma12 When did you send in ur update?
and how fast did they reply to you after you send it in?
Sent it February 25th, they replied the 26th
I’ve emailed the admissions office on several occasions. It’s taken anywhere from 1 hour to three weeks to get back to me. I don’t know how they manage those emails, but it’s really interesting that the process can vary so much.
I sent an application update to that email in late January and they never responded. I followed up a few weeks later and they said if I emailed them, they received it and it was updated. So I’m hoping it did get through.
This may be a small distinction, but is the email “apply.question@yale.edu” as stated in the original post, or “apply.questions@yale.edu” from http://admissions.yale.edu/freshman-application-checklist. I sent a few update emails to the latter, and I just want to make sure I contacted the correct one. I did not receive a confirmation email.
Neither did I, it is probably fine
My son sent in an update but no reply yet.
Question: Is it still possible at this point to submit supplemental research papers to the Admissions Office for review?
