Hey, guys.
I'm applying EA to Binghamton and I know that the supplemental materials for EA are due by December 1. This being said, I recently submitted my Supplemental Application Form and I got a screen saying something along the lines of, "Thank you for submitting" or something like that. I don't quite remember, but I remember staring at the screen incredulously, thinking, "That's it????"

You see, I'm very paranoid so I decided to ask you guys before over-thinking it. So does this mean that my SAF was truly submitted and how long does it take before it's shown on the admissions status that it was completed?

Furthermore, I had a teacher send in a rec for me roughly around two weeks ago and seeing as Teacher Recommendation is not listed under Admission Status, how will I know if they received it? Should I give them a call?

I applied to Binghamton EA as well and had a similar situation. I was super anxious that nothing (my supplement, transcript, etc) went through, but they’re just very slow at processing things-it took nearly a month for my transcript to show up under the admissions checker. I doubt calling would hurt, but you don’t need to worry about being the only one who submitted but is still waiting for your admissions checker to upload.

My D had the message saying her Supplemental Form was missing and we had no idea what they were talking about! We scrolled further down the screen and saw the link to the Supplemental Form and filled it out and it immediately showed on her status that it had been completed. She applied back in Oct, but didn’t do the Supplemental until Dec. 3rd. Oh well, good thing it wasn’t her favorite, but it would’ve been nice to have a chance!

apparently binghamton doesn’t actually look at teacher recommendations; my school sends them over naviance and it just says that binghamton doesn’t consider the recs.
