supplemental essays, help please :)

<p>Hi! I have a quick question about the part of the harvard supplement where you can write an additional essay. I have two pieces of writing I'd like to submit:
1) 400 words - An essay about my musical experiences and how I've grown as a musician (that sounds kind of boring, but its actually gets fairly interesting)
2) 350 words - An essay about my interest in environmental economics and my future ambitions in that field. </p>

<p>Both topics are extremely important to me! In that section, could I include both (on two separate pages of the uploaded document) even though it kinds of says only one essay? Also, if I had to choose, which one would be better to send? They're about very different subjects, but each one still means a lot to me. thanks a bunch!!!!!</p>

<p>I would say that it depends on what you wrote about in the Common App essays. Did you write about your music in one of those, the activities one maybe? How did you show yourself in the main essay?
Put the essays all together and look at them, then make a choice between your two supplemental essays based on which one would best display something extra about who you are.
