It sounds like any incoming freshman who accepts their offer at this point will be placed in supplemental housing. I'm still weighing my options myself.

Anyone have first-hand experience with this? Good/Bad? Manageable? Any details would be cool.

The only thing I can tell you is that it usually only lasts for the first semester. Then they are able to find you a room, due to other kids dropping out. At least my freshman year, by the middle of second semester, all of the guys that were in supplemental in my dorm had all found rooms.

To OP where’d you hear this from? I accepted my offer on the 14th. If would you say is true, should I expect to be placed in supplemental housing?

I was at a reception for the College of Communications yesterday and that was the impression I got when they referred to those still considering the offer. I can’t say for sure that you will be in supplemental if you accepted on the 14th but I’d be prepared for it.

THis thread may kill PSU for my d; still considering PSU but her 2 other final choices let her put in housing preferences w/o confirming enrollment…
