Supplemental info, etc

So for all of us who have been deferred:

1) When is it the right time to send in extra letters, recs, etc to Yale???

2) Can I retake the February ACT and send it in time??

3) Oh and I'm one of those applicants who didn't bother to explain extra-curriculars. Should I send in explanations to all my other RD colleges in addition to Yale???

I'm so incredibly worried about this.
:(

Thanks guys!

Yes, I'm wondering this as well. BTW, where can we explain extra-curriculars on the app?

You should send in all supplemental material by the application deadline. If you have something new and substantial to add after the deadline, then it is okay to send a letter detailing your new accomplishment. Just make sure it is an accomplishment that is going to make a difference - don't send a letter saying you made 3rd quarter honor roll.

I don't know about the Feb. ACT, but most colleges have that info on their website.

I uploaded an Activity List in the additional info part of the common app. Using the common app format (type of activity, grades participated, number of weeks per year, positions held, etc), I made a table divided by various categories: ECs, Honors and Awards, Summers, Work Experience. You can use whatever headings make the most sense to you. I only explained the things that weren't self-explanatory. For example, you don't need to explain what a National Merit Semifinalist is. But it is a good opportunity to explain what your role was in your various activities and what accomplishments you achieved.

thanks guys!

but are you applying RD?

I was asking as a deferee since its too late to alter my application...
So I have to send in extra info, but should I wait until late Jan or Feb, OR should I send in info immediately???
