supplemental info

i posted this in another thread but it didn't seem to get any responses. i think i sent some supplemental stuff to stanford (writing because im creative writing major); i'm not sure because i did it all in a rush but i remember sending it to privates except usc. i do remember that on my label sheet, there was a supplemental materials label which was why i didnt think twice about it. does anybody know if this would be grounds for automatic rejection or at least a big negative in my file because i honestly didn't know until i read about it now and now i'm worried. :!!

Since you sound so worried, i will give you my uninformed opinion. Although S does not want a bunch of supplemental material, I believe they are looking for reasons to take a student, rather than reasons to reject a student. This material would not disquaify you, they simply wouldn't read it. I doubt if it would even annoy them since they probably get it all the time. I have heard of other kids who submitted items after the official deadline, but they still accepted them so I don't think they are looking for excuses to disqualify students.
