<p>Can supplemental material really hurt you? Does that mean you shouldn't take risks in supplements like you're suppose to do in essays?</p>

<p>If it’s exceptional and really impressive, it should help. But if you’re only average and the admissions officer feels like you’re full of yourself/wasting their time, it can hurt.</p>
