On most applications, they stress putting all the information on the application itself and try NOT to submit any supplemental materials.

For example, on the activity part of the application, I feel there isn't enough room and I want to submit an additional resume.
However, on most of the applications, they try to discourage adding additional papers.
The same deal with the essays. After doing the required ones, I want to submit simply ONE additional essay to express my passion in business. However, I'm afraid by adding to much stuff, it would upset the admission counselor.

Because I understand that these admission counselors have to go through hundreds and hundreds of applications and they won't have too much time to spend on one application.

So do you think putting additional materials will hurt or help chances?
