<p>Basically, I'm planning on sending in a music performance supplemental CD, but there are some (hopefully minor) problems:</p>

<ol>
<li><p>I don't know where to address the supplement to. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions? This is actually probably pretty obvious, but the instructions for Supplemental Submissions don't specify and I'm a bit neurotic about apps.</p></li>
<li><p>The instructions say that we should write our Columbia ID on the submission. I'm just finishing up my app now and have obviously not received my ID yet. Should I send the CD in now with all the other required info and my Common App ID, or wait to receive my Columbia ID, whenever that might me, and then send it in?</p></li>
</ol>

<p>submit your app, get the ID, then send the cd.</p>

<p>it takes about 5 days after you submit to get your ID. and you can still send in stuff then. if you don’t put an ID on it, it’ll just get lost in the stream of stuff that thousands are sending in as well.</p>

<p>application instructions also say to put your name, Columbia ID or Social Security Number, and secondary school. I hadn’t received my ID before postmarking the supplementary materials, so I just wrote my SSN on there. </p>

<p>if this won’t work and I should resend it with the ID, please someone let me know!! :O</p>
