Supplemental Recommendations

I know there is a similar topic on this right now, but it's a slightly different question. I have the opportunity to be written an extra recommendation from my board of education (I'm a student representaive) and from various professors from pretty prestigious summer programs. However, I do have 2 strong recommendations (one math, one english) from school. Is it worth it to submit the extra recommendations if it doesn't neccessarily "provide another facet of my personality"?

I was advised, Don’t go crazy with them. I’m thinking, this would be a good tip. Just choose ONE of them if you’re going to do it.

If you’re going to submit a supplemental recommendation make sure: it’s damn good, it covers a facet of you not covered by the others and it’s personal.
