Supplemental Work

Hey I was wondering if I can send in slides of my photography work as a supplement if i had put down that it was a serious interest of mine, as an extracurricular although I'm not applying to Tisch. I'm going for College of Arts and Science. Or if I had said I do Creative Writing--can i send them some of my work?

Yes. tooool

On the NYU admissions forum, they say that they probably won't look at it if it's not mandatory.

odds are there just saying that so people don't send in stuff to clutter up files. im sure it will be looked at, and hey it might even help you if its great, but if its just good dont send anything in

NYU does not want supplemental work. They only want portfolio type materials from people who are required to submit them for Tisch. Any extraneous materials will not be looked at and will not be returned. They get 30,000 apps for R.D., they do NOT want anything extra.
