<p>No, I am confident that you cannot submit supplemental material under a separate cover. I would send it in the for the deadline if you want a proper review. Remember the admissions office forwards all of the supplemental material to the appropriate department.</p>
<p>Yes, I believe so for supplements like award updates and the like. The deadline would depend on the material and how recent of a development it is. It should probably be in by March 1, or thereabout so they can see it for committee. I have no idea about supplements like music or art.</p>
