Supplementary Materials Question

Harvard allows a maximum of 12 slides in an art submission. Is anyone going to submit more? Do you think it would be fine to bend the rules a bit and send 15?

I'd say stick to 12.

The reason they give that maximum is for time constraints. You're not going to gain favor with admissions officers by making them spend more time on a supplement than they planned to. It's also generally a good idea to follow directions.

If 12 slides will make your art submission look crappy and 15 will make it look great then send 15 or send nothing.

There's a good chance they'll only look at the first 12. If they said 12 you should send 12. Otherwise you're just the applicant who couldn't/wouldn't follow directions.
