Supplementary materials

Hi, I saw this topic on the Princeton board.

How does Harvard value/evaluate any supplementary materials they receive? I know Yale sends music/art/writing samples off to professors who give back ratings, but Harvard?

What kinds of supplements did you send? I sent in a voice CD, but it only has 2 songs, and I think that might reflect badly on me. I also sent in a copy of my research poster on a CD, but I’m not so sure of the quality of the poster…In either case, I’d like to hear what kinds of on-the-side things Harvard applicants do. (As long as they aren’t too intimidating! grin)

i just sent them a pic of me in a harvard shirt with two thumbs up grinning :D

haha lovely!

Nope, no supplements. Maybe an additional essay, who knows?

Er, that is, I'm not sending them any. Go for it, yourself.
