<p>Try to write it if you have time, it won't hurt you in anyway (usually, unless you write a really bad one) and will give you one more opportunity to boost your chance. Supplementary material is also due on the 1st, I believe.</p>

<p>i think the deadline's the same as the app deadline, though it might take a few days for them to sort all the material out over at harvard so you might be able to get by with it late. i'd recommend sending it in on time, though.</p>
<p>Unlike Yale, Harvard does not say when extra stuff is due...I would recommend getting it to them in early jan so they can send it out to faculty (although according to an admission officers, they do this only in cases of "superior talent" aka famous people)</p>
<p>I don't know if I have "superior talent". Ok so I'm not famous but my work HAS been broadcasted on the radio, tv. A lot of it when I was younger, but I win competitions every year. Do you think they will listen to my tape?</p>
