Hello everyone! Many people have told me about sending supplements along with my application. For instance, I play the flute and write/ have publications. So, I was wondering how to send music and/or writing supplements to colleges. Thank you for all of the help!

some colleges give that info on their admission website. If not, call them and ask!

Keep in mind, though, most probably don’t want to see that stuff unless you’re auditioning for a music major. Otherwise it counts and an EC, and the way to get credit for an EC is simply to list it. They don’t want to spend time evaluating your ability in the flute. If you have ability then you should have been entering contests, playing in an orchestra, etc. which are all things showing your achievement and dedication to your instrumet.

Oh. Okay! Well, I’m going to be a Biology/ Pre-Med major, so I guess that would be extraneous information. Thanks!

Colleges give that info on their admission websites and often it’s “Don’t send us anything!”

For the few colleges that do accept supplemental materials, the format, transmission method, type and quality of content is clearly spelled out. You need to research each school’s preferences.
