<p>how long are the supplimental essay questions supposed to be? are they like, 500 word essays or just 150 word short answers?</p>

<p>i'm pretty sure they're 150> words, because i tried entering short answers longer than that and the online supplement cuts you off</p>
<p>I've done two of the four questions so far and found that 250-300 words are adequate for answering the question well.</p>
<p>it says right on common app. that the "essays" must be less than 750 characters (with spaces) so thats about 115 words. It would not even let me enter more than 750...</p>
<p>They should be short pretty much dont go over what they say just read the directions and they will cut you off when you get too long.</p>
<p>Mines defnitely exceeded the 150 word limit (if that's what it was) and I got some of my short answers cutoff. What I did was continue them on the Additional Information page indicating which short answer was which.</p>
