Support for your family application question

"Please tell us about anything you regularly do to provide significant support for your family, either by working, by providing care for family members, or through other work that you do at home.
Please limit your response to 4 lines of text."

Is this supposed to be some kind of short statement or is it meant to just show if you live in a "unique" situation/household.

I shouldn't force "I do chores" into it, right? I can leave it blank if there's nothing spectacular about my family?

Right, I think they only want to know if you have a rough family situation, etc.

Do you consider doing chores something significant to support your family? I would hope that all applicants that apply to Michigan do chores. It’s really there incase there is a situation where someone needs to take so much time away from their school work in order to help their family survive (i.e. work multiple jobs to help their parents, raise a sibling because you have a single parent who needs to work multiple jobs to support you, etc.)
