"if you read what you sign when joining the military it is well within their right to do it."

Well within their right... So the contract says that as long as this country is at war, anyone thats joined since the start of the war can be called back up even if its past their active duty and inactive ready reserve contract (minimum of 8 years). That means until the war on drugs, and the war on terror are done we can all be called back from civilian life at any time. Can you REALLY consider these real wars?

DDFORM 4/1 Entitled "Enlistment/Reinlistment Document: Armed Forces of the United States" says:

Sec C: paragraph 9(5)b:
"Laws and regulations that govern military personnel may change without notice to me. Such changes may affect my status, pay, allowances, benefits, and responsibilities as a member of the Armed Forces REGARDLESS of the provisions of this enlistment/reenlistment document."

Sec C: paragraph 9(5)c: continues
"In the event of war, my enlistment in the Armed Forces continues until six (6) months after the war ends, unless my enlistment is ended sooner by the President of the United States."

Just wanted to remind you of what you signed Mrgreenapple.

Powell play. How could the evidence used to make the case for the
Iraq war have been so wrong? Find out in ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE?

On the third anniversary of former Secretary of State Colin Powell's
landmark speech to the United Nations laying out the Bush
Administration's case for the Iraq war, a high-level insider who helped
write the address makes a startling claim. Powell's then Chief of Staff
Lawrence Wilkerson says that what he later found out shocked him: that
much of Powell's speech was false. "I participated in a hoax on the
American people, the international community, and the United Nations
Security Council," he says. NOW reports on the serious doubts that
existed about the key evidence being used by the American government at
the very time Powell's speech was being planned and delivered.
