Does anyone know more about why he is leaving? From the outside he appeared to be well-respected and popular with students and faculty.
I’m an alumnus and I liked Dr. Suresh as well on a personal level. I hope the resignation is not health related. I did have some reservations about his approach. I thought he operated the University more like the NSF than as an institution of higher learning. But overall I think his presence was positive. I certainly wish him the best.
