Question, is there a place around the University to get good Chinese or Filipino food? My son would hate to have to wait for an lumpia shipment from home

Thanks and Merry Christmas

south bend chinese food - Google Maps

there appears to be a lot of chinese food in the area, and one Filipino, Thai, and Lao restaurant right off campus. i can't attest to the quality of any of them though.

Good ole' fashioned American Chinese food? No problem, Golden Dragon is right nearby. Authentic Chinese food? No idea. I can attest, though, being from New York, I am thoroughly deprived of authentic New York style pizza, and, while it sucks, it makes the reunion that much better every semester.

I used to live on Staten Island, kevdude, and I miss the New York pizza too! Found one place in Ohio that resembles it, but it's not the same, lol.

Some things- like good lumpia- are simply worth waiting for, inde'? Maybe you can Fedex with dry ice and some adobo and pansit. And those honey candies in the edible communion wafer wrappers! Wow! Your son will instantly be the most popular guy in his dorm. Merry Christmas!
