7 reaches, 2 matches, 1 safety

1/4/1 but most of my matches are matches-safeties. I'm very conservative on my guessing.

2 safeties, 1 match-safety, 3 matches, 3 match-reaches, 2 reaches

2/3/4

im probably gonna drop a stretch and a safety though... if a safety is safe, why be safe and apply to 2?

3 safeties, 3 match-safeties, 2 match-reaches, 7 reaches

I'm bad at judging myself, mainly I could be applying to 10 reaches or 7 matches depending on how you look at it. Only 1 or two safeties that I don;t want to attend, regradless of money.

2/8/1 lol

Safeties: 3
Matches: 5
Reaches: 3

Safety: 1
Match: 1 (maybe 2)
Reach: 4

I don't understand why anyone would apply to more than one safety school. By definition, a safety school is a school you're sure to get into. So if you know you're going to get in, why would you spend the extra time filling out applications and extra money to pay application fees when you could spend that same time and money applying to another match or reach school?

1 safety / 3 safety-match type/ 1 match/ 1- match-reach type/ 2 reaches

(like many others, i have no way of judging myself)

Well the reason to apply to more than one safety school is to get multiple financial aid offers, or if possible have competiting school, i.e. if you apply to penn state and they give you 30000 and pitt gives you 5000 then you tell pitt that PSU gave you 30000 then pitt may give you 30500.

2/5/3/3

Safety/Good Fit/Slight Reach/CRAZY REACH

my son will probably apply early action to two reaches out of the four reaches. If he gets in that will probably be that! Otherwise it will probably be 4/0/2. He'd be happy at either safety, but needs to look at both more carefully - they have very different schedules. I think he's certain to get into both. All the reaches ought to be matches, but aren't because they are too selective.
