Did anyone else get an email from Cal Poly with a survey about courses. Do they look at which students give which responses and by when do we need to complete the survey?

I don’t think they have any way of knowing specifically which student filled out the survey. You don’t have to log in nor do you have to provide any information about yourself. However, the surveys are given out based on your major. One of my friends is a math major and I’m a CPE major. I had a question about a CPE class and he didn’t.

Actually, I’m pretty sure they know who is taking the survey. They ask you if you are still attending Cal Poly, and if you say no, they will take you off the admissions list. I think when you click on the link, they are still able to see who did the survey.

So will the survey affect which classes I’m enrolled in or is it only for Cal Poly to know which classes to offer based on the aggregate demand?

Oh my mistake. I didn’t think about the fact that the links are specific. And I actually just clicked on my survey again and the information was still there.

I don’t know the answer to your question though michael

Carry on!

When they ask if we have taken a course in Calc, English, etc. at a college or university level, do AP’s count for that or only courses taken AT a college or university?

I was also wondering about that. What if I took a course at an AP level and I passed the AP test, but the class was only called ‘calculus’.

What is the link to that survey for comms major, I did not recieve that email or must have accidentally deleted it! Need answer quickly please :)
