Surveying applicants who have NOT heard yet.

Hmmm… you are aware that universities will expect those scraps of homework to be completed? (Even more so than in high school.)

the purpose of this list was to hopefully make people feel less anxious by letting them know that they are not alone. . .how about

yeah i know i’ll have to crackdown more on homework in college, but i just feel that i will have a lot more time at college to get it done. besides isn’t it somewhat unfair that a student receives lower 6 weeks / semester grades when they consistently perform well and get high A’s on tests? (including finals, AP tests, mid terms)

I meet pretty much everything…For me it’s just annoying because so many people from my school were in that last wave.

Oh hey, add me to the list…
no “forwarded,” no boxes, nothing.

D is in same boat - has not yet heard and has been on forwarded status since at least mid-Feb.

NewOrleans504

Applied by December 1st scholarship deadline. No “no scholarship” letter, status hasn’t changed from “being reviewed” at any point, no boxes. Stats are in the upper-median for USC. 4.55 W GPA, 33 ACT, 2090 SAT, All honors/AP courses. I did apply to Marshall though, which I’ve heard takes longer to send out acceptances.

My daughter hasn’t heard yet. We live in New York

My son is a National Merit Scholarship Finalist, a U.S. Presidential Scholar nominee, a varsity athlete, has taken a rigorous curriculum at a top-flight private school, has scored 5’s on all his AP exams, had a great interview with admissions last December, applied to Marshall . . . and has heard nothing. C’est la guerre.

I don’t really know what my unweighted gpa is (school doesn’t calculate and not sure if usc does straight 4,3,2,1 or looks at pluses and minuses), but I’m pretty sure I’m a competitive applicant. Still no info though, in VA.

My status just changed from reviewed to forwarded today…Ive been at the reviewing app status for forever.

I haven’t heard either and this is what my status says and it’s making me nervous:

Undergraduate Application (Part II, Fall 2010)
We received the fall grades we requested, and require no additional information at this time. We will mail decisions to freshman applicants by April 1st.

everyone else keeps talking about this “forwarded” application!! i live in PA and USC was my first choice and i really don’t know what to think :(

I’ve been at “forwarded” since early February now. Applied to Marshall, and I haven’t been hearing a lot of people getting accepted into Marshall from the first wave so I’m just waiting it out now.

OK – so there are TONS of people in this same position – let’s just assume that all will be well and we will hear soon!

I’m kind of in the same situation as you. I applied to Marshall and my status has been on “review” for months. A lot of people have heard back but at least there aren’t a lot of news about Marshall or any from my state. Maybe those are signs of hope.

classygirl

i’m literally going insane

Same here but I can’t stay away from this board.

Opheliarose and Jamesbball - I’m in the same boat as you guys. I applied to Marshall and my status has been forwarded since late January. While some have, not many people have heard back from Marshall yet, so I’m guessing they will hear back later than everyone else. At least that’s what I hope and can give me some hope lol.

my GPA is a little lower than average but my SATs are in range and i did an interview that went well, been on forwarded for a REALLY long time, applied as a linguistics major to CLAS

I have not heard yet. Had a great interview and stayed in touch with the interviewer all year. Weighted GPA 3.9 ACT 29 SAT 1980. Eagle Scout, ASB. People to People Student Ambassador, UCLA Green Global Leadership, Lots of business related ec, started my own business at age 16, 450 community service hours. 8 AP classes.
