<p>Hi everyone,</p>
<p>I would really like to start a discussion about people's experiences at music college that were difficult or negative. Too often students start college completely unaware and unprepared for the politics that drive these places internally, and through complete ignorance, talented students get messed about and messed up.</p>
<p>I decided to start writing about my own experience recently, because it really affected me at such a young age. I don't wish to put anyone off going to college; it can be a wonderful experience and invaluable at providing a time to polish and grow as a musician. But a lot of students experience difficulties notwithstanding the problem of feeling unable to talk about experience.</p>
