thanks a lot bro

hey sushant and others:
I am also taking the test on saturday and aiming for a 750.

I took the first practice test in PR and got 680, and reviewed every last thing i got wrong in it. Then, after hearing that the third test was more difficult, I decided to take that one next. I got a 650 and I had studied a lot more.

So now I'm really scared. There were things in the 3rd PR test that PR review did NOT cover. Did you take the 3rd yet? Where are the most realistic practice tests and what do you think we should do to maximize our scores?

I am thinking maybe go through the CB test and check to see what I get wrong, then review all that. After all that is the most realistic. I'm worried about the 3rd PR test though. What's up with it, where can I get a good test, and my most important question is:

What is the best preparation to do AFTER having gone through, thoroughly, PR's review?

im not sure, I am taking the PR test 3 tomorrow.... lol on the second one, i got a 750 i like that one its easy. I dont have CB one, anyone have it?

pls somebody put up the raw score -> 200~800 score scale that you can find in any book .. i wanna see what the curve look like :)) thnx

Princeton Review 2007:

79+/85 800
70/85 750
59/85 700
49/85 650
41/85 600

Also taking it on Saturday, and on PR's tests I've gotten 690, 720, 560 (that last one is killer). Took CB's last night and got 720, which is about what I'm expecting to get on the real one which is basically fine by me.

I just got a 720 on my first PR test. :) Much better than my 650 Physics...

Is there 85 questions or 80? Cause the PR book says out of 85 points raw score?

one of my friends just told me that you don't get points off for getting the T/F/CE part of the exam wrong. (just like grid section of SATI math test) does anyone know for sure whether that's true or not?

I doubt it, but that would be amazing.

Yopua it is indeed 85 questions

Paulmjk i really doubt that but I hope! Anybody who knows PLEASE tell us!

I have taken three practice tests:
PR #1- 680
Then I studied like crazy
Skipped PR #2, then PR #3, 650 (I was pi.ssed)

And I just took a kaplan test and got 730.

with the kaplan i had a raw score of 63 to give me the 730

I am hoping kaplan is realistic!

I heard pr is realistic...

well then whatever.
I am going to take PR #2 soon

Are quantum numbers on the SAT II? PR does not have them in the book, I have not encountered them on any practice tests yet. But sparknotes has them in thier book

UPDATE: I got 720 on my first PR then 780 on my second one.
Is PR REALLY accurate in terms of question types and predicting the actual score?
On PR#2 I only got 4 wrong on Part 1 and 3 and bombarded Part 2 with 12/16 GRRRRRRRR Off to do some Sparknotes now.

gonna take PT 3 PR tonight.

just got 730 on the College Board subject test booklet.

i hope it's close to real one.. i doubt it .. T.T

Just hoping for 700+!!!!

does the anode have a positive or negative charge?

Anode is where oxidation occurs. From what I've learned, anode doesn't have a specific charge.

grr just took the 3rd test in PR, got a 560... so here are my scores... 670, 750, 560 in the PR... at one point in the last test, i was skimming the questions and picking choices immediately at first glance without thinking much because of frustration.

Yeah so it IS tough! This is very strange. I was equally as frustrated about it as I took it. However, I went over everything that I got wrong and would be glad to answer any questions you want from that test sunshant
