I have just received a suspension from my high school due to possesion of illicit substance. The school official told me that they will send a notice to UC Berkeley. Will they revoke my admission based on this first time offence?
Unfortunately, they very well might. Despite Berkeley being a fairly liberal school, there were definite low/no-tolerance policies in place for students who attend and got nailed for a substance (usually counseling the first time), but as a new-admit? I think you might be in trouble.
