Suspension in Junior High

I was just curious because I made a stupid mistake in junior high and got suspended. Will colleges be able to find out about this because I really don't want it to effect my shots at getting admitted.

What did you do?
I don’t really see why they’d care, though.

Colleges don’t care about anything you did in middle school unless you were convicted of a felony.

I figured out the teachers’ passwords to their Study Island accounts were the last 4 digits of their phone number. Needless to say I abused that.

Lol…
Yeah, I don’t think they’ll care much.

@jmon lolz I’m sorry but thats hilarious!!! Anyway, if you improve your behavior in hs, colleges will be impressed that you cleaned up your act (if they find out about the suspension, that is). Nothing to worry about

To quote Ron Burgundy, “I’m not even mad, that’s amazing.”

I wouldn’t worry about it. I don’t even think they’ll know about it.

How’d you get caught?

You only have to put down on college applications about suspensions during high school. At any rate, I don’t think they care much about Study Island…

Even funnier story… I created a whole Power Point presentation of how I figured it out, animated and everything. I emailed it to them from the local library computer with an email address I created a long time ago to sign up for things. They showed the email to my grade and somebody recognized my email (don’t know who). Word quickly got around the student body I was the awesome kid who deleted all our study island assignments and they found out.

Why the hell did you do that?

Hmm if your school made you sign some contract for computers, they could convict you of a felony based on what the contract says.

Tampering into the system is a very bad thing, but I don’t know your school’s rules OP so assuming all you got was a suspension then you should be off.

@CE527M I did that because at the time I was feeling really cocky… when you’re able to delete all the study island assignments and the student population is idolizing some unknown hero it can make you do unreasonable things

@Charles23 They started making students sign “The Electronics and Telecommunications Agreement” the year after it happened.

^ I’m Batman

Ah, you got off good OP.

You’re a boss, OP.
And yeah, unless you charges were brought against you, I don’t think it would make a difference.

OP keep ballin

that rolls dude, but next time use tor

How would that change anything? He just ought to have created an entirely new email account.

You’re my hero!
