Suspicious AP scores

Hello everyone,
I know it's late but I can't stop thinking about my AP US History and AP Chem scores. I did pretty good in class (got A- in APUSH and B+ in APChem). I can't say I was the best in one class or the other but I felt confident after leaving the testing room. I expected a 4 or 5 on APUSH and 4 on APChem. I also took APCompSci at which I suck. So my AP scores are as follows: 3 (APUSH), 2 (APChem), 1 (APCS)... At first I was shocked and surprised. It also seems a bit suspicious that my scores are so... in order? Do you think it is me or CB messed up? I took AP Bio last year and got a 2, keep in mind my teacher didn't teach us much and then was fired by the end of the year.... I didn't know anything and somehow managed to get a 2. Here I felt much more comfortable with my subjects... What do you think, should I pay for a re-score of APUSH and APChem or wait and see what happens (I read that sometimes CB contacts students in September if CB finds a mistake in scores)?

I'm also going to talk to my last year AP teachers about that, will see what they tell me.

Thank you.

Very suspicious indeed . . . a 3, 2, 1 - that sounds an awful lot like an Apollo count down from the late 60’s early 70’s. I wouln’t talk to my teachers about it unless you really, really trust them.

For what its worth, I’ve heard APUSH can be a bit disheartening. You expect a 4/5 and end up with a 3… :(

I think you should pay for a re-score. Since you obviously think that you deserve a higher grade on those AP tests, then you should ask CB to re-score it. You don’t want to go through the college admissions process and wonder, “Maybe if I had re-scored it, then my score would have been higher.” CB has made mistakes before, so just go for it.

Doesn’t seem suspicious at all. Just because you felt good coming out of it doesn’t always mean you did well (I mean they have some great wrong answer choices).

Maybe you could have put the wrong form number or something on the multiple choice sections, I almost did that, but caught it right as I was turning my answers in.
