Suugestions needed for Dorm Move-In

<p>I am so proud of my Son...and all the other new Students that will start UNC this Fall.
Good Luck to each and everyone of you!</p>

<p>My Son has been assigned to the 4th floor of Morrison Hall.<br>
I would greatly appreciate suggestions on how best to outfit the room for him and his roommate.</p>

<p>It is my understanding that the only furnishings is the loft bed, a desk w/ chair, a Chest of Drawers and a Wardrobe Closet. </p>

<p>Do you recommend the two of them share a mini-fridge and microwave?
There is only one Cable outlet...do they normally share a TV, or use a splitter and have their own TV's?</p>

<p>What about easy chairs or ??? of course, the room is only 10'x16'.</p>

<p>The rooms in Morrison are pretty small, so most people I know usually loft at least one of the beds and put their desk under it. Some of the rooms in Morrison have odd sloped ceilings, so that makes arranging the room a little challenging (not sure if it’s all the rooms in the suite or just the front or back ones). They could definitely share a mini-fridge and a microwave. I think most people only have one TV too. My roommate and I have always had two comfy chair things in our room, and you can usually make it work. The tightest fit was Hinton James, but we did have the beds bunked. Moving day was pretty nuts, but at least he is on the fourth floor and not the tenth! LOL. Good luck!</p>
