<p>Got my financial aid package on Friday. The school is wickedly expensive =/.</p>
<p>They also used the wrong figure for the Pell Grant… they used the old one, not the new breakdown, which was weird.</p>

<p>It’s been 6 weeks since I filed my FAFSA and I am still waiting on mine as well. The FA office said mine was in the going out last Thursday. Hopefully it will be here soon.</p>
<p>My S was admitted to SVA for film & received his aid package a while back. On Saturday we received a second aid package. I opened it because it was addressed to our house but the package was for a photography student. My husband works in the city and is planning to stop by the school and drop it off. The student is from MA - so if someone is waiting for their package - this might be it.</p>
<p>got mine today, only got nearly $17,000 as a combination of spring and fall semesters! [$8500 spring $8500 fall] and the cost is over $42,000!!!
It is still extremely expensive!

<p>Still waiting on SVA. My FAFSAs were received by them over 7 weeks ago. They said they are hoping to have the package to me in the next two weeks. Meanwhile, they want a deposit in two weeks by May 1st. My other colleges had the FA package within 3 weeks since FAFSA filing. Is it supposed to take this long or is SVA slow?</p>
