hello!
i am a white female currently learning swahili outside of school- i'm pretty sure there isn't an SAT II in swahili... but should i push to be fluent? or does it matter? could that in itself be a hook, or would i have to take some sort of proficiency test?
thanks!

unless you want to become an interpreter or do something in diplomacy it really isnt related to college admissions, I speak two other languages outside of spanish and english, and im pretty sure it doesnt really affect my chance of admission since my major is international biz

My father speaks some swahili, is it true that it is only a spoken and there isnt a written form??

Really, I think speaking Swahili might be valuable to college admissions officers. They want diversity, knowledge, and just interesting people. Speaking Swahili certainly seems interesting to me. It's certainly not going to get you into Harvard hands down, but it could help.
