Swapping classes you've been scheduled for

ILR block schedules students for classes before their enrollment window. When I have my enrollment appointment, is it okay if I switch my Intro to Micro class with another one at another time? I got one professor when I wanted another. As long as there's room (there may not be on the 14th, when I have my appointment), that's fine, right?

I don’t know how this enrollment appointment works in relation to blocking, but you could always switch this around the first moment that add/drop becomes available, which should be right before (or as) classes begin. I assume that intro to micro probably doesn’t fill up, but I’m not certain.

ILR typically limits the ability of its students to drop/swap required classes, so you’ll probably need permission from the office of student services to do so. From my own experience, though, OSS rarely grants students permission drop/swap required classes. But it can’t hurt to try.

@ malan89, did ilr already block schedule you for micro? If I didn’t receive it, does that mean I got credit from my AP?

Urgh. That’s frustrating.

Yes, my Student Center shows me scheduled for ILR Colloquium, Intro to OB, and Intro to Micro. You can check what AP credit you have (mine is up…it came on two days after I shelled out $8 to have CB read them to me…bad move) by choosing Transfer Credit on the Academics section on Student Center.

mine is still not up. Guess not everything is up yet
