Swarthmore Acceptance Percentage?

Just wondering what the acceptance percentage was this year. Any link that provides further information would be greatly appreciated.

About 18% accepted this year.

You could check the Swarthmore admissions stats thread. It would sort of make sense that stats on admissions would be there...

Haha... :D

I noticed that you asked about Amherst. They haven't released their final acceptance numbers, but their total applications fell just over 2%, from 6281 last year to 6135 this year -- the same for all intents and purposes.

<a href="http://halogen.note.amherst.edu/%7Eastudent/2005-2006/issue17/news/06.html%5B/url%5D">http://halogen.note.amherst.edu/~astudent/2005-2006/issue17/news/06.html</a></p>

If they accept the same 1176 as last year, that would put Amherst's acceptance rate at about 19%.

Williams' applications were up 2.3%. Acceptance rate, assuming the same number of acceptances as last year, will be almost identical to Swat's and Amherst's -- 18% to 19%.
