Swarthmore Class of 2018 Regular Decision Thread

Hello everyone! Here is a thread for those who applied for a spot in Swarthmore's Class of 2018 regular decision. Decisions should be coming out in less than a month! How are you guys feeling?

I’m nervous. Do you know what date the decisions are released, and if they are mailed or posted online?

decisions are mailed by Apri 1st, and yeah let the nervousness begin

Last year I recall they were very close to April 1… maybe arrived a day or two before that?

Does anyone know if international students are notified by email instead?

I’m pretty sure international students are emailed.

This waiting…I can’t take it.

It is terrible isn’t it?

does Swarthmore has an early notification program like Williams and Amherst?

They do. I think their early writes usually come out around this time. Probably some time this week. It would be awesome to get one, but I don’t want to be too hopeful…

The Swarthmore admissions twitter retweeted tweets from a couple people who said they were just accepted. So I think it’s safe to say that early writes have been sent out.

I got one yesterday, but I don’t know how many were sent out. I also live about 45 minutes from Swat, so I could have been one of the first ones to get a letter. Keep checking your mailbox, but if it does not work out, I hope you get in in late March! The letter was postmarked March 10.

RARARARARARARARARARA. People are getting Early Writes from Swarthmore omg. I love that school so much.

@KeDIX1414 Congrats! You must be so happy! Is Swat a top choice of yours?

Swat is in my top 3! I hope that everyone on this thread who loves Swat gets in!
