My mother went to Swarthmore, but my bad early grades make this far from a sure bet.

Good luck to everyone!

So it seems there are few students applying to the Swarthmore Fall ED this year.

There are few applying ED to Swat AND using collegeconfidential.

yeah…has it been like this every year? or this year is just an exception? from which country are you international 95? best of luck to you

Has it usually been the case that most of those who apply ED to Swat don’t post on CC? Yes, that has usually been the case.

I did not apply ED to Swat but I plan to apply RD.

I just don’t think a ton of people from CC are applying ED, though I know of like 8 more who are not on CC…

Just to pop in, things will heat up as it gets closer to D day. The one thing that you don’t generally find on the Swat thread is a lot of sharing of stats whether in advance of decisions or once decisions are in. Discussions and questions tend to be more generally responded to.

Good luck!

I applied ED. AND THE RESULT WILL COME OUT NEXT WEEEEK!!!

ED applications up 8% to Swat, so some people seem to be applying. :)

@momof3sons Where did you get that statistic?

Also does anybody have any idea what day they will mail the letters? I had called yesterday for an unrelated reason and the person I spoke to mentioned that they are currently in committee…

ArtsyGirl-I will try to let you know when letters are being mailed.

I applied ED. International. Super anxious!

What other schools did y’all apply to?

Dec 10-15, but if u’re in the States, that might be a bit earlier (based on last yr observation)

the decisions will be out no later than december 13
